Dimensions allow you to analyze the results of a questionnaire based on different categories, and generate reports based on percentage results. To link one or more dimensions to your question, make sure that a platform administrator has previously configured the dimensions. If you're an admin, see the Configure dimensions article to configure your dimensions.
How does it work?
One or more dimension(s) of patient experience can be linked to several questions. Each dimension can then have a number of questions attached to it.
A different result is associated with each of the answer choices of the question.
Example:

We can therefore know the result for each of the dimensions as well as the average of the questionnaire, all dimensions combined.
Here is more information on the calculation methods used for the results:
- The result of a question is the average of the result of each of the collected answers.
- The result of a dimension is the average of the result of each of the questions associated with it.
- The average of the questionnaire is the average of the result of each of the dimensions.
Enable the dimensions of patient experience
1. Access the Survey list via the main navigation. 2. Navigate to the survey you want to modify. 3. Click on the Edit survey button. 4. Click on the question to be modified. 5. Click on the Dimensions tab 6. Use the toggle to activate the dimensions.
Link a dimension to a question
1. Access the Survey list via the main navigation. 2. Navigate to the survey you want to modify. 3. Click on the Edit survey button. 4. Click on the question to be modified. 5. Click on the Dimensions tab 6. Use the toggle to activate the dimensions. 7. Select the dimension(s) you want to associate with this question.
Unlink a dimension from a question
1. Access the Configuration tab via the main navigation. 2. Navigate to the survey you want to modify. 3. Click on the Edit survey button. 4. Click on the question to be modified. 5. Click on the Dimensions tab 6. Click on the X on the dimension(s) you want to remove from this question.
