Dimensions allow you to analyze the results of a questionnaire based on different themes and thereby generate reports based on scores. To associate one or more dimensions to your question, make sure that a platform administrator has previously configured the dimensions. If you're an admin, see the Configure dimensions article to configure your dimensions.
How does it work?
One or more dimensions and a score can be assigned to several questions. Each dimension has a number of questions associated with it.
A different score is associated with each of the answer choices of the question.
Example:

We can therefore know the score for each of the dimensions as well as the total score of the questionnaire, all dimensions combined.
Here is more information on the calculation methods used for the score:
- The score of a question is the average of the score of each of the collected answers.
- The score of a dimension is the average of the score of each of the questions associated with it.
- The total score of the questionnaire is the average of the score of each of the dimensions.
Associate a dimension to a question
1. Access the Configuration tab via the main navigation. 2. Navigate to the survey you want to modify. 3. Click on the Edit survey button. 4. Click on the question to be modified. 5. Click on the Score and dimensions tab 6. Check the box to enable scoring 7. Select the dimension(s) you want to associate with this question.
Dissociate a dimension from a question
1. Access the Configuration tab via the main navigation. 2. Navigate to the survey you want to modify. 3. Click on the Edit survey button. 4. Click on the question to be modified. 5. Click on the Score and dimensions tab 6. Click on the X on the dimension(s) you want to remove from this question.
Remove score
1. Access the Configuration tab via the main navigation. 2. Navigate to the survey you want to modify. 3. Click on the Edit survey button. 4. Click on the question to be modified. 5. Click on the Score and dimensions tab 6. Uncheck the box to disable scoring
