Dimensions allow you to analyze the results of a questionnaire based on different categories, and generate reports based on percentage results. To link one or more dimensions to your question, make sure that a platform administrator has previously configured the dimensions. If you're an admin, see the Configure dimensions article to configure your dimensions.
How does it work?
One or more patient experience dimension(s) can be assigned to multiple questions. Each dimension, therefore, has a certain number of questions associated with it.
A percentage result must be associated with each response choice of a question. These percentages are customizable based on your needs. The configuration must always include at least one value at 0% and one value at 100% among the response choices.
Here is an example for a scale question:
| Values (minimum to maximum) | Percentage |
|---|---|
| 1 | 0% |
| 2 | 25% |
| 3 | 50% |
| 4 | 75% |
| 5 | 100% |
You can therefore view the result for each dimension as well as the average results of the questionnaire, meaning the average of all dimensions combined.
Here is more information on the calculation methods used for results:
- The result of a question is the average of the result of each collected response.
- The result of a dimension is the average of the result of each question associated with it.
